Physical educationThe focus of Middle School Physical Education classes is the improvement of students physical fitness level. This will be done through the use individual and team games along with physical fitness testing.

adaptive Peer PE (AppeP)The goal of Peer PE is to create positive relationships between the Peer Mentors and the Peers. The Peer Mentors will help their Peers be successful in various physical activities. With a focus on lifelong activities that all students can be involved in.
This class will be taking several field trips each trimester. Students must attend and participate while following all classroom expectations in 80% of PE classes in order to participate in off-campus activities. |
8th grade advancedEmphasis is placed on fitness testing and its implications and in helping students maximize their athletic potential while decreasing the chance for injury. This will be accomplished through warm-up programs, core strength exercises, lifting programs, flexibility exercises and nutrition.
I'm very excited to have this as a class at the middle school level. My goal is to help all of you learn all of the technique that you will need to be safe and successful when you reach the high school strength and conditioning program.
